Steven Romano

Steve Romano has a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Steve is currently serving as a Non Executive Director at Evolution Research Group and Silence Therapeutics plc. In addition, they have held notable positions at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals as EVP and Chief Science Officer, Pfizer as SVP in various roles such as Medicines Development Group Head for Global Innovative Pharma Business and Specialty Care Business Unit, and Eli Lilly and Company as a Clinical Research Scientist. In 2022, Romano will take on the role of Chair Board Of Directors at the National Pharmaceutical Council.

Steve Romano earned their Bachelor's degree in Biology and English Literature from Washington University in St. Louis from 1977 to 1981. Steve then went on to attend the University of Missouri-Columbia, School of Medicine, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from 1981 to 1985.
