Michał Wasążnik

Michał Wasążnik has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Michał currently works as a Product Manager at Silent Eight since November 2021. Previously, they worked at Nordea as a Product Owner from July 2020 to October 2021. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining the product backlog, cooperating with stakeholders, analyzing requirements, and managing production issues. Michał also had additional responsibilities as a Scrum Master, where they analyzed team processes, managed Jira setup, and provided training and coaching to less experienced team members.

Prior to Nordea, Michał worked at LBPro as a Project Manager starting in April 2018 until December 2019. In this position, they managed various projects related to high voltage network measurement for a US client. Michał worked with a team of 7 to 12 people and was responsible for promoting Agile practices, implementing SCRUM artifacts, enhancing Jira utilization, and delivering system modules as scheduled. Michał also held the roles of Business Analyst and Quality Assurance at LBPro.

Before that, Michał served as the Prezes at Koło Naukowe EMK from 2013 to 2017, where they held leadership responsibilities. Michał also worked as a Redaktor at Nowy Biuletyn Łódzki from 2010 to 2012, where they contributed as an editor.

Michał Wasążnik holds a Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Lodz, which they obtained between 2012 and 2017. Prior to that, they attended the Państwowa Szkoła Muzyczna im. Stanisława Moniuszki, where they completed their I st. degree in the field of guitar from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Michał has obtained several certifications, including Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in January 2018, Subtle Expression Recognition Training - Elite - Level Master from Humintell in November 2015, Dangerous Demeanor Detector Advanced - Level Master from Humintell in December 2013, Microexpression Recognition Training - Elite - Level Master from Humintell in July 2013, Micro Expression Training Tool - METT 2.0 - Expert Level from the Paul Ekman Group in August 2012, and SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (5.0) from Scaled Agile, Inc. in January 2021.
