Peter Ågren

Peter Ågren began their work experience as a Development Engineer at the Swedish Defence Research Agency in 1996. Peter then moved on to become a Project Manager at Micronic Laser Systems in 2003. In 2007, they transitioned to Silex Microsystems, where they held the role of Product Manager until 2015, when they became a Senior Principal Engineer.

Peter Ågren completed their Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics at Umeå University from 1992 to 1995. Peter then pursued a Master's degree in Semiconductor Science and Technology at Imperial College London from 1994 to 1995. Finally, they earned their PhD in Nanophysics and Quantum Electronics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 1997 to 2002.
