Ky Phan

Ky Phan is a seasoned mechanical design engineer with extensive experience in the semiconductor and solar technology sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Silicon Genesis since September 2007, Ky Phan specializes in designing solar wafer processing equipment and performing mechanical and thermal finite element analysis (FEA). Prior experience includes a role at Lam Research from June 2000 to September 2007, where Ky Phan contributed to the Etch Division by designing frontend platforms and gas boxes, and developing test plans and systems. Earlier, from September 1997 to June 2000, Ky Phan managed the development of an industrial network device at Bay Advanced Technologies, coordinating efforts across electrical and software disciplines. Ky Phan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University, earned in 1998.
