Dr. Leigh Anne Clevenger

Vice President, Technology at Silicon Integration Initiative

Dr. Leigh Anne Clevenger has a diverse work experience in the technology and software engineering fields. Dr. Leigh Anne is currently a Vice President of Technology at Silicon Integration Initiative, Inc. (Si2), where they have been since 2018. In this role, they focus on applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to electronic design automation tools. Dr. Leigh Anne co-developed the Unified Power Model/IEEE-2416 standard and is a lead developer of the Si2 prototype power calculator. Dr. Clevenger also collaborates with Si2 member companies and universities to drive work in AI/ML, UPM, and emerging technologies.

Before their current role, Dr. Clevenger worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Si2, where they collaborated with semiconductor design, manufacturing, and EDA tool development engineers to solve industry-wide AI/ML interoperability challenges. Dr. Leigh Anne then transitioned to their current role as Vice President of Technology. Prior to Si2, they worked as a Principal Software Design Engineer, where they developed software for testing and certifying EDA systems, supporting semiconductor and electronic design automation companies through the Si2 OpenStandards Coalition, Open Access Coalition, and Compact Model Coalition.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Clevenger worked at GLOBALFOUNDRIES as a Senior Software Design Engineer, where they applied computer science innovations and semiconductor domain knowledge to address customers' semiconductor engineering challenges using Python, XML, and Lua software. Dr. Leigh Anne also worked at IBM in various roles, including Software System Engineer and Software System Test Developer. In these roles, they utilized their software engineering expertise to add innovation and analysis to a large software system used worldwide.

Dr. Clevenger obtained their Software Engineering Doctorate from Pace University in 2017. During their studies, they gained knowledge and experience in machine learning algorithms, software engineering techniques, and analytical skills. Dr. Leigh Anne also demonstrated strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills through conference presentations and publications.

Dr. Leigh Anne Clevenger completed their Doctor of Professional Studies (DPS) degree in Computing from Pace University between 2013 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained their Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering from Boston University. Dr. Leigh Anne holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from UCLA.
