David Seymour

David Seymour is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as a Senior Field Application Engineer at Silicon Labs since February 2017, David supports a range of technical initiatives. Previously, David held roles at NXP Semiconductors as an MCU FAE, where David provided pre-sales and post-sales technical support for Kinetis MCUs. David's tenure at Freescale Semiconductor spanned a decade, during which David progressed from ColdFire Product Specialist to Applications Engineering Manager, focusing on MCU product support and customer training. David began a career at Recon Optical as a Junior Engineer, maintaining reconnaissance systems. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Imaging and Photographic Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an Associate of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Harper College.
