James Camire began their career in 1990 as an Engineer at Contel. In 1995, they became the Director of Operations and Internet Technologies at InfoNow Corporation, where they were responsible for strategic technology planning, project management, and all Internet-based product development. In 1997, they were promoted to Director of Research & Development at MapQuest, where they were responsible for 40% of the company's revenue. In 2000, they became the Manager of Internet Technologies and Program Manager at DePuy Orthopaedics, where they were responsible for the full lifecycle development, implementation and support of J2EE infrastructure, Internet architecture and applications. In 2005, they were promoted to VP of Software Development at Edustructures. Finally, in 2001, they became the President and CEO of Silicon Mountain Technologies, where they were responsible for driving sales, business development, marketing, customer relationship management, and full lifecycle project oversight for the development of enterprise-class Web software in a Java/J2EE environment.

James Camire attended Saint Pauls from 1978 to 1982. James then attended Regis University from 1989 to 1992, where they earned a BSBA in Economics and Business Management. Finally, they returned to Regis University from 2008 to 2009, where they earned an MSSE in Software Engineering.
