Mike Schafer

Mike Schafer is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in network administration and technical support. Currently serving as ND NOC Site Lead and previously holding various positions at Silicon Plains, LLC since May 2018, Mike has managed NOC operations and network infrastructure. Prior roles include IT Support Specialist at Connecting Point Computer Center and Network Architect/Systems Admin at Sweet Crude Oilfield Services, Inc, where responsibilities included maintaining office networks and implementing communication solutions for oil drilling rigs. Mike's career began in telecommunications with positions at Extend America/FlowMobile and Business Information Systems, Inc./Tel-Tec, where expertise in network management was developed. A veteran of the US Navy, Mike possesses formal education in Cybersecurity and Computer Networks and Electronic Technology from Bismarck State College.
