Matt Kisber

Matt Kisber is the current chairman at Silicon Ranch. Matt has over two decades of experience in business development, including roles at First Tennessee Bank and the State of Tennessee.

Kisber began their career in 1994 at First Tennessee Bank, where they quickly rose to the role of vice president. In this role, they were responsible for recruiting new customers and expanding relationships with existing customers. Matt also created new institutional investment products that enhanced financial returns while complying with risk and reporting requirements.

In 2003, Kisber left First Tennessee Bank to become the commissioner of the Department of Economic & Community Development for the State of Tennessee. In this role, they were charged with developing the infrastructure and resources of Tennessee communities and fostering a business-friendly atmosphere. Matt has worked to strengthen partnerships both domestically and internationally, with a focus on high-level customer service.

Under Kisber’s leadership, the State of Tennessee has seen significant economic growth. Matt has successfully attracted new industries and assisted existing industries as they expand. Their work has had a positive impact on the lives of Tennesseans and the state’s economy as a whole.

Matt Kisber has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Vanderbilt University.
