Brian McCarthy

Brian McCarthy has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Brian worked at Silicon Reef as a Project Manager starting in February 2022 and prior to that, they held the role of Support Desk Analyst from February 2021 to February 2022. Before joining Silicon Reef, Brian worked at Criterion Hospitality as a Guest Services Manager from January to November 2020. Additionally, they served as the General Manager at Goodtime Beach Backpackers from May 2018 to May 2019, where they were responsible for managing a team of 25 staff and overseeing various aspects of property management. Prior to that, Brian worked at Banyan Bar as the Co-owner and Manager from September 2011 to February 2018. In this role, they managed the bar, restaurant, and property and was involved in financial management, HR, customer relations, party planning, and property management.

Brian McCarthy attended Miami University from 2003 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance, General. In addition to their undergraduate degree, they obtained certifications including the APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) from the Association for Project Management in February 2023, and the Software Development Technician Level 3 from QA Ltd in May 2022.
