J Ym Gussous M.D. Faaos

J YM Gussous MD FAAOS is a highly experienced spine surgeon currently working at Silicon Valley Medical Development since May 2018. Gussous has contributed to the Scoliosis Research Society as a member of the Editorial Board since 2016. Previously, Gussous served as the Spine Deformity Service Director at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center from December 2015 to March 2018, and completed dual fellowships in Spine Surgery with a focus on Adult Spinal Deformity at the University of California, San Francisco, and at Mayo Clinic. Gussous's earlier training includes a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Illinois Chicago, a specialized focus on Pediatric Spinal Deformity at Shriners Hospitals for Children Chicago, and a biomechanics research fellowship at Mayo Clinic. Educational background includes medical training at the University of Jordan, culminating in an internship, and prior schooling at Amman Baptist School.
