Ahmed Ramadan

RFIC Design Engineer at Si-Vision

Ahmed Ramadan has a diverse range of work experience in the field of IC design. Ahmed began their career at Seamless Waves, where they worked on a graduation project focusing on the design of a millimeter-wave transceiver. Following that, they joined Mabrains as an Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design engineer for a brief period.

Ahmed then worked as an Analog IC Design Teaching Assistant at the Information Technology Institute (ITI). Subsequently, they joined Upwork as an Analog/RF IC Design Engineer, where they worked until January 2023.

In 2022, Ahmed joined Khonika Technology as an Analog IC Design Engineer, where they played a key role in the design of the power manager for a high-speed SerDes system. Ahmed focused on the design of comparators and attenuators, which were used for supply sensing detection and chip protection.

Currently, Ahmed is working at Si-Vision as an RFIC Design Engineer, starting from March 2023.

Throughout their career, Ahmed has gained expertise in various aspects of IC design, including analog, RF, and mixed-signal design.

Ahmed Ramadan attended Ain Shams University from 2017 to 2022, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering. In 2020, they also enrolled in a course on Analog IC Design at the Information Technology Institute (ITI). Additionally, Ahmed has obtained several certifications, including a certificate of completion for the ITI Analog IC design course in 2020, a course on Introduction to embedded systems with PIC microcontroller from DeepBlue Platform in 2019, a course on Introduction to the Internet of Things and Embedded Systems from Coursera in 2019, a course on Introduction to embedded systems with AVR microcontroller from the Aviation CLUB EG in 2019, and a course on English for Career Development from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018.
