Mitja Kumin is an experienced professional currently serving as the Lead Development Technologist at SILIKO d.o.o. since October 2019, following a role as Research and Development Technician. Prior to this, Mitja held multiple positions at Albatros-pro d.o.o. from February 2015 to October 2019, including Assembly Project Manager and Machine Builder, where responsibilities included building and assembling custom machines for automation and providing customer support throughout the machine's lifecycle. From September 2012 to April 2014, Mitja was the Workshop Manager at Art In Eden, overseeing wood preparation for string instrument manufacturing and contributing to the development of thermally modified wood. Mitja holds ongoing education at the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana, following a degree in Lesarski Tehnik (Carpenter Technician) obtained at Lesarska šola Maribor from 1999 to 2003.
