Ashley Hughes

Ashley Hughes has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical affairs and project management. Ashley is currently serving as the Director of Clinical Affairs at Silk Road Medical, Inc. Prior to this, they worked at Eli Lilly as an Advisor External Clinical Research and Operations, Manager Clinical Development, and Consultant, Clinical Project Management. Before Eli Lilly, Ashley was the Director of Clinical Affairs at PTS Diagnostics, where they led efforts related to planning and strategy, implementation, and reporting of clinical studies. Ashley also worked at Cook Medical in various roles such as Manager, Clinical Project Management, Clinical Scientist, Clinical Project Manager, and Data Management. Their responsibilities included strategic planning, project execution, data management, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams and vendors for global clinical studies.

Ashley Hughes obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, General from St. Joseph's College (IN) in 2006. Ashley then pursued a Master's Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, graduating in 2009. In 2014, Ashley received a Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS).
