Benjamin Fruland

Benjamin Fruland has a diverse work experience spanning several companies in the medical field. Benjamin is currently working as an R&D Director at Silk Road Medical, Inc. since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Medtronic from 2014 to 2021, holding various roles including Program Director and Sr R&D Program Manager. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at Covidien as a Principal Development Engineer. Before that, they were employed at Ionix Medical as an R&D Research Director from 2007 to 2010, and at Boston Scientific as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer from 2002 to 2007.

Benjamin Fruland earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1999.
