Rasean Butler

Rasean (Hamilton) Butler has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of quality operations and engineering. Rasean started their career as an Engineer at Bechtel in 1993 and later joined Guidant, where they served as a Product Development Engineer and then as a Project Group Lead, leading cross-functional teams in developing medical devices.

Rasean then joined Boston Scientific and held various roles, including QA Manager, QA Manager II, and Manager of Quality Operations. During their time at Boston Scientific, they implemented process improvements, managed inspections, resolved production issues, and provided quality engineering support to product development teams.

Afterwards, Rasean joined Maquet Cardiovascular as a QA Manager II, where they managed incoming inspections, implemented process improvements, and provided quality engineering support. Rasean then moved to AccessClosure, Inc., where they served as the Director of Quality Engineering & Complaint Handling and later as the Senior Manager of Quality. In these roles, they managed departments responsible for nonconforming material disposition, complaint handling, audits, and supplier management.

Rasean's career continued at Cardinal Health (AccessClosure) as the Director of QRA Management and then at Earlens Corporation as the Quality Director. In these positions, they oversaw quality operations and implemented quality control measures.

Most recently, Rasean joined Silk Road Medical, Inc. as the Director of Quality Operations, where they currently work.

Rasean Butler holds an MBA degree in Marketing Management and Leading People and Organization from Santa Clara University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2003. Rasean also has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Stanford University, which they completed from 1988 to 1993. Additionally, they hold a California State Professional Mechanical Engineering License and is an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.
