Tom O'Neill

Tom O'Neill is an experienced technology executive currently serving as VP of Products and International CTO at Silk since June 2019, where the focus is on enhancing mission-critical workloads across various cloud platforms. Prior to Silk, Tom was the EMEA CTO at Kaminario from December 2015 to May 2019, contributing significantly to the company's composable data platform that emphasizes real-time analytics and data center automation. Tom also served as a Solutions Architect and Performance Expert at Violin Memory from February 2012 to November 2015, where responsibility included providing design and validation solutions for key clients in Europe, the Middle East, and Russia. Additional roles included Principal Sales Consultant at Oracle, Storage Architect at Pillar Data Systems, and positions at EMC and Data General, spanning a career that began in 1999. Tom O'Neill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Management from Royal Holloway, University of London.
