Ajmal Hussain

Ajmal Hussain is an experienced banking professional with a strong background in internal controls and operational management. Currently serving as Regional Manager of Internal Controls at Silkbank Limited since August 2008, Ajmal manages an ICD team focused on identifying operational anomalies and enhancing performance across branch banking and other segments. Prior to this, Ajmal held roles including Head of Branch Operations North at United Bank Limited, where responsibilities included supporting branches with operational issues and ensuring compliance with bank policies. Earlier experiences include Team Leader of Audit at MCB Bank Limited and ICU Officer at Union Bank Limited, demonstrating expertise in auditing, operational oversight, and risk management.
