Bidzina Baratashvili

Bidzina Baratashvili is an experienced media professional with a diverse background in broadcasting and journalism. Currently serving as the Chief of the Broadcasting Department at Silknet since January 2016, Baratashvili has previously held key positions such as General Producer at GMG from September 2010 to December 2016 and Dean of the School of Journalism and Media Management at GIPA from August 2013 to August 2014. Prior to these roles, Baratashvili was Chief of Sports and Acquisition at IMEDI TV and held various leadership roles at the Ministry of Culture of Georgia, TV Company Channel 2, and Studio 8 1/2 Ltd. Education includes a Master of Arts in Arts History from Tbilisi State University, completed in 1986, following primary education at School N53 in Tbilisi.
