Butrrat Charoonsmith

Butrrat Charoonsmith is the Founder and CEO of SILKSPAN, with extensive experience in investment banking and financial management. Prior to establishing SILKSPAN in April 2000, Butrrat held roles at Merrill Lynch as an Investment Banker, managing a $500 million Eurobond issue for MERALCO, and at Phatra Securities Plc, leading debt restructuring and M&A projects for companies with over THB 18 billion in consolidated debt. Butrrat's early career included a position as a Loan Officer at Siam Commercial Bank, managing a Baht 5 billion commercial lending portfolio. Academic credentials include an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Sasin School of Management and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. Further education includes a brief study at HEC Paris.
