Mariana Barreto Spratley currently serves as the Executive Assistant to the CEO at Sillion, a role held since July 2022. Previously, significant experience was accumulated at Amnesty International from September 2017 to June 2022, where various positions included Executive Assistant to the Secretary General and Executive Coordinator for the Acting Secretary General. Prior roles also include Executive and Administrative Assistant at LSE Cities, as well as Administrative Assistant and ERC Project Administrator at the European University Institute. Mariana's early career featured positions such as Programme Assistant at THE EUROPAEUM and Assistant to Youth & Citizenship Officer at the Assembly of European Regions. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Political Science and International Relations from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, an Erasmus degree from the University of Glasgow, and a Bachelor's degree in Portuguese and English Language, Literature and Cultural Studies from Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Additional foundational education was completed at Lycée Français Charles Lepierre.
