Marla Legvold

Marla Legvold has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Marla is currently working at Silq as a Director, a role they started in 2023. Prior to that, they were a Sr. Manager, Client Accounts at Silq from 2022 to 2023. Before joining Silq, Marla worked at BIOWORLD MERCHANDISING as a Product Development Manager/Apparel Division, overseeing a team of product developers and coordinating between design and fit teams from 2017 to 2022. Marla also had experience as a Senior Designer at Sharon Young Inc. from 2015 to 2017, where they were responsible for research trends, CAD artwork, and product concept creation. Marla worked as a Senior Designer at SUCCESS Partners Co. from 2014 to 2015, collaborating with clients and the sales team to design and develop merchandised collections. Before that, they worked at Wohali Outdoors as a Senior design and development role from 2013 to 2014, collaborating closely with buyers and creating trend presentations. Marla also worked at Westmoor Manufacturing as an Embroidery/embellishment Designer from 2013 to 2013, and they owned their own business, M. Alexandra Art & Design, from 2012 to 2013, where they sold original hand-painted items. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Manager at Chico's FAS Inc. from 2012 to 2013. Marla's career started at J. Suzette & co., where they were a Manager-Product Design and Development from 2009 to 2012, working closely with buyers and overseeing the creation of original product concepts. Marla also briefly worked as an Artist at Finley Shirts in 2010. Marla Legvold attended the Savannah College of Art and Design from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Fashion/Apparel Design.
