Carles Riera Molina

Carles Riera Molina is a Deep Learning Specialist at Silt since October 2021 and has been a Predoc researcher at Universitat de Barcelona since December 2014, focusing on breaking dependencies in neural network training, zero initialization for deep learning, and hyperplane arrangements in relation to VC theory. Previous roles include Research Assistant developing an elder care system utilizing autoregressive LSTM for behavior anomaly detection, and Assistant Researcher designing a data collection and visualization website for gynecological laparoscopies across Spain. Carles also served as AI Lead at DRAAGU, creating a multimodal image retrieval system, and worked as a software developer at Microstep Spain. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and Analysis with a focus on Machine Learning, a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, all from institutions in Barcelona.
