Matthew Tan

Matthew Tan (陈维新) has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Matthew is currently serving as the Vice President at SilTerra Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. since March 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Director, S&M, WWCE, QRA, FA, RE at the same company from September 2018 to March 2022.

Before joining SilTerra Malaysia, Matthew worked at Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation in Shanghai, China. Matthew served as a Director, Customer Engineering from 2011 to 2013, Director, FAE Management from 2009 to 2011, and Deputy Director, Account Management of APJ from September 2008 to 2009.

Matthew's earlier experience includes working at SilTerra Malaysia as a Deputy Director, Technology Development & Process Integration from 2000 to 2008. Matthew was part of the pioneer team involved in the start-up of a wafer FAB and contributed to technology development, process integration, and device engineering.

Matthew also had a brief stint at LSI Logic Corporation in Oregon, USA, as a Process Integration Engineering focusing on CMOS technology transfer.

Matthew began their career at TECH Semiconductor Singapore Pte Ltd, where they worked as a Product and Yield Engineering professional handling various semiconductor technologies.

Matthew Tan (陈维新) obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, from 1992 to 1996.
