Fernando Carrion

Fernando Carrion is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in research and development within the microelectronics field. Currently serving as a Research and Development Engineer at Silvaco Inc since July 2020, Fernando focuses on the design and characterization of standard cell libraries, automating processes and analyzing performance metrics. Prior to this role, Fernando worked as a Hardware Designer at itt Chip - Unisinos and as an Analog/RF IC Designer at NSCAD Microeletronica. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Microelectronics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, complemented by specialized training as an Analog/RF IC Designer and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution. Early career experiences involved internships focusing on electrical characterization and electronics maintenance.
