Terry O'Reilly has extensive work experience in the field of clinical research and pharmaceuticals. Currently, they serve as the Medical Director at Silver Creek Pharmaceuticals since 2022. Prior to this, Terry held various roles at Celerion from 2010 to 2022, including Senior Principal Investigator and Principal Investigator, where they oversaw clinical research trials and was involved in multiple studies and responsibilities such as protocol development, subject safety oversight, adverse effects assessment, and sponsor communication. From 2016 to 2020, Terry worked as the Medical Chair/Vice Chair at Western Institutional Review Board. Terry also served as the Medical Director/Principal Investigator at Novara Clinical Research from 2007 to 2010, overseeing late phase clinical research studies in multiple therapeutic areas. Earlier in their career, Terry worked as the Director of Clinical Research at Unigen Pharmaceuticals Inc in 2006, and held multiple roles at Western Institutional Review Board from 1994 to 2005, including Assistant Vice President, Chair of the Institutional Biosafety Committee, staff physician, and board member. Additionally, they served as the Medical Director and Principal Investigator at Future Healthcare Research Center in 1992 and worked as an on-call admitting physician at Puget Sound Hospital Chemical Dependency Treatment Center from 1991 to 1992.
Terry O'Reilly completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology at the University of Puget Sound in 1985. Following this, from 1985 to 1989, they attended the Medical College of Wisconsin, obtaining a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Subsequently, Terry O'Reilly participated in the Family Medicine Residency Program at Tacoma Family Medicine from 1989 to 1992. At the completion of this program, they became Board Certified Family Practice (Board Eligible). Additionally, Terry O'Reilly obtained several certifications, including Wilderness First Responder from NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute (WMI) in 2015, ACLS from the American Heart Association in the same year, and Advanced Wilderness Life Support (AWLS) from the Wilderness Medical Society in 2013. They also obtained BLS certification from the American Heart Association in 2015 and Certified Physician Investigator (CPI) from ACRP in 2011.
