Christopher Shand

Christopher Shand has over 40 years of extensive experience in human resources and operations management within the hospitality and food service industries. Starting at Marriott International as a Manager and advancing through various leadership roles, Christopher served as Director of Training at Vie de France Yamazaki, Inc., Director of Ops Services/Training at Einstein Bros. Bagels, and Vice President of HR at Chicken Out Inc. Ultimately, Christopher held the position of Chief People Officer and VP of Human Resources at Silver Diner from June 2003 to February 2023. Academic qualifications include a BBA in Finance from Loyola Marymount University and ongoing studies towards a JD/MBA in Law and Business at UCLA.
