Eric Wilcox PE, CWI, MLT I is an experienced mechanical engineer specializing in ride engineering and safety systems within the amusement industry. Currently serving as a Rides Engineer at Silver Dollar City Attractions since June 2020, Eric previously held roles as a Mechanical Engineer at Herschend Family Entertainment, providing engineering support for mechanical and safety systems across various properties. Eric also contributed to the operations and mechanical support of notable rides at Silver Dollar City, Dollywood, and Wild Adventures, utilizing expertise in data analysis and compliance. Earlier experiences include internships focused on mechanical design optimization and structural analysis in both aerospace and amusement park settings. Eric holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Regents Diploma from Bainbridge-Guilford Central School.
