Emily Longo serves as a Primary Therapist at Newport Healthcare since February 2024, specializing in individual and family therapy for adolescents and teens with dual diagnoses in Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs. Concurrently, Emily Longo conducts family assessments and develops treatment recommendations for the ARGENT Program at Silver Hill Hospital. With a private practice established in February 2016, Emily Longo focuses on assisting children, adolescents, and families affected by trauma and abuse, incorporating Brainspotting therapy for enhanced healing. Previous experience includes work as an EDT Clinician and IICAPS clinician at Boys & Girls Village, Direct Care Staff at Prospects, and Marriage and Family Therapist Intern at the Child Guidance Center of Mid-Fairfield County. Emily Longo is pursuing a PhD in Social Work at the University of Connecticut, building on a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut-Stamford.
