Sammy Oquendo brings extensive experience in tooling design and manufacturing, currently serving as a Senior Tooling Design Engineer at Plaskolite Rotuba Profiles since March 2016. Previously, Sammy held a dual role as Tool Room Manager and Extrusion Tool Design & Manufacturing expert at Silver Line Building Products, where responsibilities included designing extrusion tools, managing workflow, and consulting on tool repairs, while also enhancing market expansion through innovative tool designs. Sammy's career began at Vinyl Building Products as a Senior Window Designer, focusing on window system design and manufacturing documentation for turnkey window manufacturers, while overseeing the production of extrusion tooling. Additionally, Sammy has served as Glass Tech Director, collaborating with suppliers and associations to improve the quality and durability of insulated glass units.
