Julie Fadda Powers has extensive experience in the wine and media industries, currently serving as the Tasting Room Senior Associate at Silver Oak Cellars & Twomey Cellars since September 2018. Previously, Julie worked as a Freelance Writer and Editor for Sonoma Media Investments, LLC and other clients since January 2016, and held the position of Tasting Room Associate at Dutcher Crossing Winery in mid-2017. Julie also served as the Editor-in-Chief for Vineyard & Winery Management Magazine from December 2015 to April 2017 and held the editorial role for NorthBay biz magazine for a decade. Early career highlights include positions such as Editor-in-Chief at Learn2 Corp., Managing Editor at Miller Freeman, Inc., and Associate Editor at Dyna Corporation. Julie began a career in hospitality as a bartender and food server at various establishments. Julie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from San Francisco State University after attending San Diego State University.
