Sahmed Martinez

Sahmed Martinez, CPA, currently serves as a Fund Accountant at Silver Point Capital, L.P. since June 2023. Prior experience includes roles at SS&C GlobeOp, progressing from Associate to Manager between September 2017 and April 2023. Sahmed also worked as a Tax Expert at Intuit during the 2020 tax season and held positions at Davidson Fox & Company, LLP, starting as an Intern and advancing to Staff Accountant, where responsibilities encompassed tax return preparation and bookkeeping. Earlier, an internship at the NYC Department of Citywide Administrative Services involved financial budget analysis. Sahmed holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Binghamton University.
