Rhyan Sharkey

Rhyan Sharkey started their work experience as a Project Manager at Motor Media in 2007 and continued in that role until 2014. From 2014 to 2021, they worked as a Secondary English School Teacher at NJ Public Schools. Additionally, Rhyan worked as a Production and Marketing Assistant for the Food Chains documentary film in 2014. They also had freelance roles as a Writer and Creative Consultant from 2016 to 2020. In 2019, Rhyan acted as a Creative Consultant for the short film "The Goal." From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Copyeditor and Copywriter as a freelancer. In 2021, Rhyan joined OneCare Media as a News Editor and worked until 2022. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Content at SilverAssist since 2022.

Rhyan Sharkey attended Monmouth University from 2003 to 2007 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music with a concentration in Music Industry. They also pursued an English minor during this time. In 2016, Rhyan returned to Monmouth University to pursue a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree. They completed their studies in 2018, specializing in Secondary English. Furthermore, Rhyan obtained an endorsement in Teaching Students with Disabilities during their MAT program.
