Tom Fletcher

Tom Fletcher is a Senior Scientific Researcher and VFX Researcher at Silverback Films, focusing on natural history filmmaking and scientific research for upcoming productions. Tom is an Honorary Research Fellow of Palaeobiology and Teaching Fellow at the University of Leicester, where Tom conducts research on palaeobiomimetics and the biomechanics of sharks and their ancestors. Tom previously worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Leeds, where Tom continued their research on the hydrodynamics of sharks and their ancestors. Tom holds a PhD in Hydrodynamics of fossil fishes and modern sharks from the University of Leeds.
