Janice Read

Janice Read is a highly experienced legal professional currently serving as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Silverchair since November 2024, following a similar role at Clarivate from October 2016 to November 2024, where Janice managed the Commercial Legal function and led a global team of in-house lawyers. Prior to Clarivate, Janice held several positions at Thomson Reuters and was instrumental in providing counsel to its IP & Science division. Janice also contributed to legal education as an Adjunct Professor at Drexel University's Thomas R. Kline School of Law, teaching contract drafting. Janice's earlier career included roles at ARAMARK and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. Janice holds a Juris Doctor from Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law, an MBA from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College.
