Barry Hughes

Barry Hughes has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. In 2001, they started working as a Freelance Graphic Designer and Artist. From 2006 to 2012, they worked as a Graphic Designer at Red Circle/Zamano, where they designed print advertising, created content for mobile and web, designed children's apps, and created online landing pages and Flash banners. In 2013, they worked as a Graphic Designer/Illustrator at StoryToys. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Graphic Designer at Bia Food Initiative, where they worked on rebranding the organization to FoodCloud. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Graphic/UX Designer at FoodCloud. Currently, in 2021, they hold the position of UI Designer at SilverCloud Health.

Barry Hughes completed a Bachelor's degree in Design and Visual Communications, General at the National College of Art & Design from 1997 to 2001. In 2017, they obtained a Certificate in Fundamentals of User Experience Design from Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology. Barry has also acquired additional certifications, including Business Analysis Foundations: Business Process Modeling and Technical Writing: Quick Start Guides from LinkedIn in May 2019. In 2017, they obtained certifications in Prototyping and Design, User Research and Design, and Introduction to UI Design from Coursera.
