Emmel Murray

Emmel Murray is an experienced HR professional with a diverse background in various industries, currently serving as HR Manager at Silvercorp Metals Inc. since June 2022. Prior roles include HR Advisor at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, where recruitment and grievance resolution for faculty were key responsibilities, and Head of HR for TV Production at ABS-CBN Corporation, managing HR for a significant division of the largest multimedia conglomerate in the Philippines. Emmel's earlier experience includes HR Manager positions at Tyche Consulting and the Philippine National Red Cross, as well as holding multiple HR roles at HP and IBM Business Services. Emmel holds a Master of Industrial Relations and Human Resources from the University of Toronto, an MBA from The University of Western Australia, and a BA in Communication from Simon Fraser University.
