Shay Katz

Shay Katz is a Senior Data Scientist at Silverfort since April 2021, specializing in advanced cyber attack detection and mitigation through log analysis from various cloud systems. Prior to this role, Shay worked as a Security Data Scientist at Radware, focusing on supervised and unsupervised problem-solving, data analysis, anomaly detection, and model development using techniques such as CNN and auto-encoders. Additional experience includes a Data Scientist position at Matomy, where Shay enhanced click-through rates and classified user behavior, and a PMO role at TowerJazz, overseeing R&D project progress and an IT project for synchronizing ERP and CRM systems. Shay holds an M.Sc. in Applicable Machine Learning and a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering-Information Systems from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
