Matthew Black

Matthew Black's work experience includes serving as the Head Golf Professional at Silverleaf Club since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Lead Assistant Golf Professional at the same club from April 2021 to May 2023. Matthew also gained experience as an Assistant Golf Professional at Blessings Golf Club from January 2019 to March 2021. Before that, they completed a PGA Level 3 Internship at The Honors Course from May 2018 to December 2018. Matthew also served as a Caddie & Member Services staff member at Whispering Pines Golf Club from August 2015 to May 2018. Matthew completed internships at Erin Hills Golf Course in 2017 and Angel Fire Resort in 2016, both at the PGA Level 2. Additionally, they completed a PGA Level 1 Internship at The Broadmoor in 2015. Matthew's earliest work experience was as an Associate at A-Advantage Plumbing from August 2012 to July 2014, where they were involved in various business courses and projects.

Matthew Black attended Sam Houston State University from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Their field of study was Professional Golf Management.
