Hashan Ravishanka

Hashan Ravishanka is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in plant management and engineering within the food and beverage sector. Currently serving as Plant Manager for Silvermill Group's India Project at Taprobane Food & Beverages Ltd in Tamil Nadu, India, Hashan oversees the production of coconut-based food products. Previously, as Plant Manager for Ceylon Shell Flour Ltd, Hashan managed operations and engineering for a fruit dehydration project focused on mangoes for export to Europe. Hashan's career began as an Assistant Mechanical Engineer at both Ceylon Shell Flour Ltd and KMRI-SMG Assets Company, contributing to a biomass-based power plant recognized as the country's first co-generation facility. Educational credentials include an MBA from the University of Wolverhampton and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sunderland, complemented by a National Diploma in Technology from the University of Moratuwa.
