James R Ford

James R Ford has a diverse range of work experience. James R started their career as a Web Designer at Emap in 2005 and then worked as a Digital Designer at Stuff from 2009 to 2015. In 2015, they joined Silverstripe as a Senior Designer and worked there until 2017 when they were promoted to Principal Designer. James R held this position until 2019 when they were further promoted to the role of Creative Director at Silverstripe, where they are currently employed. Additionally, James R Ford has also pursued their passion as an artist since 1980, their self-employed status has allowed him to continue their artistic endeavors while working in the design industry.

James R Ford completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Fine Art at Goldsmiths, University of London from 2004 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Fine Art from Nottingham Trent University from 1999 to 2002. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Professional Member of The Designers Institute of New Zealand in August 2023 from the Designers Institute of New Zealand.
