Kim Hedberg

Kim Hedberg serves as the Chief Sustainability Officer at Silvis Materials as of October 2023. With extensive experience in academia and consulting, Kim has been a Lecturer at the University of Colorado Denver since 2016, specializing in Grant Writing and Fundraising, and received the 2017 Best Lecturer Award. As the Owner of Balanced Solutions since 1997, Kim provides consulting services focused on sustainability planning, strategy, financial modeling, and project management. Previous roles include Chief Operating Officer of xBuzz The NudgeMe App, Executive Director of Backcountry Snowsports Alliance, and Principal/Hydrogeologist at Walsh Environmental. Kim holds an MBA from the University of Colorado Boulder, an MS in Hydrology from the University of New Hampshire, and an AB in Economics from Amherst College, along with a Certificate in Sustainability from the International Society of Sustainability Professionals.
