Scott H. Pearce

Scott H. Pearce is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the materials, financial, and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Co-founder and COO of Silvis Materials since May 2022, Pearce focuses on advancing specialty chemical supply chains while mitigating climate impact. As an Operating Partner at Colorado Financial Holdings, LLC since February 2016, Pearce consults and invests in agriculture businesses. Additionally, Pearce co-founded Big Lever Labs in January 2020, a startup studio dedicated to developing purposeful natural and healthy brands. Previous roles include serving as President of Sage Bioproducts, where Pearce led a bio-based chemical startup, and as President & CEO of BioFuel Energy, successfully growing revenues to $700 million and overseeing a public offering. Earlier career highlights include leadership positions at Poseidon Water and Nalco Water, as well as military service as an Attack Unit Commander in the US Army. Pearce holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University and an education from MIT Sloan School of Management.
