Jason Lau has extensive experience in the media and technology sectors, currently serving as Media & Technology Director at SIM Australia since 2014, with previous roles including Partner Relations Manager and Partner Relations Co-ordinator. Prior to this, Jason Lau developed postgraduate courses at the University of Sydney and held various positions at Optus from 2000 to 2012, culminating as Product Portfolio Manager for Value-added Services and ICT. Experience also includes consulting and engineering roles at Telstra Corporation and web development positions at the University of New South Wales. Educational qualifications encompass a Certificate in Fundraising from the Fundraising Institute Australia, a Graduate Diploma of Divinity from Sydney Missionary & Bible College, a Diploma in Biblical Studies from Moore College, and a Computer Engineering degree from UNSW. Jason Lau completed secondary education at Sydney Boys' High School.

Convinced that everyone needs to hear the Gospel, our heart is to make disciples of Jesus in communities where He is least known. We partner with local Australian churches in equipping and sending out cross-cultural gospel workers, with a variety of skills and talents, to serve in a diverse range of ministries. We also seek to demonstrate Jesus’ love and compassion to the vulnerable by offering holistic care through our aid and development arm, SIMaid.
