Gopal Hegde

Gopal Hegde is a Senior Vice President, Engineering and Operations at SiMa.ai. Gopal has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor and software industries. Prior to joining SiMa.ai, Gopal was the Vice President/General Manager of the Server Processor Business Unit at Marvell Semiconductor. Gopal also served as the VP/GM of Data Center Processor Group at Cavium Inc (acquired by Marvell Semiconductor). Gopal has also worked as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Calxeda, Inc. and as Sr. Director, Unified Computing Systems (UCS) Platform Engineering at Cisco. Gopal has also worked at Intel Corp for 7 years where they held various positions such as Director/Principal Architect, Server Platform I/O, General Manager, and Director of Marketing. Gopal has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Gopal Hegde has a MSECE from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, an education from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), and an education from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka.
