Naveen S.

Naveen S. has over 20 years of professional experience in the software engineering field. Naveen began their career in 1999 as a Software Engineer at DaimlerChrysler. Naveen then moved on to PortalPlayer, Inc. in 2001 and Trimble Navigation in 2002 as a Software Engineer. In 2005, they became an Embedded Communications Engineer at AlphaSmart, where they were responsible for Board Bring up and Driver Development. From 2007 to 2013, they were at Cisco where they were an SDN Systems Architect and Lead. During this time, they were involved in Broadcom Trident+/Trident2 based TOR datacenter switch development, OF-DPA implementation for Openflow 1.3, Cloud networking/SDN and openflow development for TOR switch, and Parallel Evaluation and Design work. In 2013, they became the Director Technical Staff at Cypress Semiconductor Corporation, where they were involved in strategic decisions surrounding M&A activities and deeply involved in defining architecture for PSoC-4 and PSoC-6. In 2019, they became the Chief Technology Officer and EVP Engineering at Coros (A Mercedes owned Company). Most recently, in 2020, they joined SiMa.ai as the Sr. Director Software.

Naveen S. completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from RVCE between 1995 and 1999. Naveen then went on to receive a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology between 2000 and 2002.
