Tim Genske

Tim Genske has over 25 years of experience in software engineering and development. Tim began their career in 1996 as an Engineering Product Manager at RIGG Engineering Group, Inc. In 2000, they moved to LightSurf as the Director of Software Development. After five years, they joined VeriSign as the Director of Software Development and implemented a new multi-tenant architecture. In 2007, they founded and became CTO of Tanalus, Inc. and developed a scalable software architecture for a hosted recommendation system. In 2009, they founded and became CTO of InSight Mobile Inc., where they architected and implemented a mobile People Discovery application. In 2010, they joined Gridata, Inc. as VP of Software Development and lead the Software Engineering team to successfully demonstrate core data processing, storage, and retrieval of key energy metrics. In 2011, they became Senior Director at Prysm and provided technical and managerial direction to all the software teams to deliver quality software. In 2019, they joined Companion as VP of Engineering. In 2021, they joined Bold Changes Consulting, Inc. as a Technical Consultant. Tim is currently a Senior Director SoC Software at SiMa.ai.

Tim Genske received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1989, after studying there from 1985 to 1989.
