Star Commanday

Star Commanday currently serves as a Project Planner at Simantel since August 2023. Previously held positions include Executive Assistant at Artists ReEnvisioning Tomorrow from September 2022 to August 2023, and Artistic Operations Assistant at Brevard Music Center for the summer of 2022. Star gained extensive experience at Illinois Wesleyan University from August 2018 to June 2022, fulfilling roles as Administrative Assistant, Music Librarian, and Ensemble Manager. Additionally, Star worked briefly as Stage Manager for Peoria Ballet in December 2021, Production Assistant at Ravinia Festival from May to August 2021, and Patron Services Associate at Heartland Festival Orchestra from May 2019 to December 2020. Star earned a Bachelor's of Music in Piano Performance from Illinois Wesleyan University in May 2022.
