Karen Gowers

Karen Gowers has a long history of experience in the retail industry. Karen began their career in 1997 as a Store Merchandising Assistant at Home Retail Group PLC. Karen then moved to Habitat in 2006, where they held the roles of Assistant Merchandiser Textiles & Kids and Merchandising Assistant Textiles. In 2010, they joined Laura Ashley as a Store Planning Merchandiser and Junior Merchandiser Soft Furnishings. In 2013, they took on the role of Branch Merchandiser at Monsoon Accessorize. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Merchandise Manager at Steinhoff UK. In 2021, they joined Simba Sleep as a Merchandise Manager. In each of their roles, they were responsible for setting departmental financial targets, strategy development, sales and profit delivery, and stock management.

Karen Gowers attended Chalvedon School & Sixth Form College from 1992 to 1999. Karen then went on to receive their BA (HONS) in Interior Design from the Surrey Institute of Art & Design between 1999 and 2002. No additional certifications have been listed.
