Damian Perez

Damian Perez has a diverse work experience spanning over 13 years. Damian is currently working at SIMBA Chain as a Lead Software Engineer, responsible for leading and overseeing the software engineering team. Before that, they worked at Workstate as a Principal Software Engineer / Project Lead. At FirstService Residential, Damian served as a Senior Full Stack Engineer. Prior to that, they were a Research Software Developer at Notre Dame Center for Research Computing, where they co-invented ALADDIN, a research framework for designing and visualizing blockchain assets and transactions. Damian also worked as a Senior Front-End Developer at Wrecking Ball, a Senior Software Engineer at HBO Latin America, a Software Development Engineer at Tervela Inc, a Software Engineer at KORE Wireless, and a Software Engineering / Team Lead at Desoft. Throughout their career, Damian has demonstrated expertise in various technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, Ember.js, and more.

Damian Perez received their primary education at the University of Havana from 2002 to 2008. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. In 2010, Damian furthered their education by undertaking postgraduate studies at the Universidad de Córdoba. Damian focused on the field of Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology during this brief period of study.
